SMURFIT-MBI INTRODUCES NEW COMPANY LOGO

Smurfit-MBI is introducing its new company logo in support of the company’s strategic repositioning.  The new logo design combines a contemporary typeface with the CustomerONE® “star”, a graphic element well-recognized by Smurfit-MBI employees.  The company’s new colors – red and black – are represented in the logo, and replace the old Smurfit-MBI corporate signature and “Smurfit-MBI blue”. 

Introducing the CustomerONE® “star” element into the company logo was a natural progression: 

v     The “star” has gained significant equity within the company and symbolizes the important of the CustomerONE® values and principles within our daily activities.  Those values are so important that we have adopted the CustomerONE® logo to represent the company to the outside world. 

v     Adopting the CustomerONE® “star”, along with the red and black color scheme, gives Smurfit-MBI the opportunity to develop a consistent look with graphic elements of the same color throughout the organization.
